Before hiding one drive, we must know the drive letter and volume respectively in our computer by typing "list volume" (without quotes) hit ENTER to proceed we will obtain such information below.48QZ39HQQ9J5
From these results, we can know the drive letter and volume of each. In the example above, we obtain the following information.
Drive F is indicated by the volume of 0
Drive C is shown in volume 1
Drive D is shown in volume 2
Drive E is shown with a volume of 3
Command to hide the drive is type in diskpart "select volume drive" (without quotation marks) and then ENTER followed again by typing the command "remove drive letter" (without quotation marks) and then ENTER.
For example to hide drive D then the steps and the command is as follows.
First, click Start >> Run >> type "diskpart" then ENTER
Second, type the command "select volume 2" ENTER
Third, type the command "remove letter D" ENTER
Fourth, restart the computer and make sure the drive is not visible anymore.
To return again to hide D drive, follow the steps above and then on the third step, replace the command "remove letter D" to "assign letter D"
