How do I create a Bootable Windows CD/DVD? After
copying all the installation files of windows and burned on a CD and
then used to reinstall, it turns out the CD Room not reading CD R
contents so that the installation process fails. Why is this so? The
answer is because the windows files are copied last chance to not to
make bootable windows install process is done so that when the CD Room
think of it as a regular CD and it is not bootable windows.

- Prepare the software maker ISO file. In this example I am using the Free ISO Creator
- Prepare the software to burn the ISO file into a Bootable Windows CD/DVD. In this example I used InfraRecorder software
- After downloading both the software, please install. Both of these software is FREE
- Prepare the windows installer files for instance you downloaded or already in your computer in advance.
- In this example I am using Windows XP SP 3
Part 1 Make ISO file :
- Run the Free ISO Creator to do the task of creating ISO files and folders.
- Click [Add Folder] and enter all the windows installation folder
- After all the tercopy folder, now it's time click [Add Files] to add the files remain. The result looks like the image below :
- Next please click [Save ISO as ...] name your ISO file and save it in a place that is easy to remember. Don't forget to give the extension. "iso" behind the name of your file to be saved. See the image below;
- The final step of this process is the click [Convert] to convert the file
- Wait until the process is finished convert and see the result, as the image below ;
- Get sisni ISO file ready
Part 2 burn the ISO file into a Bootable Windows CD/DVD:
- Run the InfraRecorder you have to install and it looks to be as follows ;
- Insert a Blank CD/DVD on the DVD/CD-ROM drive.
- Click the button [Write Image] as is visible from the image above, then locate the iso file of windows that you just created above.
- If you've already found it click on the iso file and then press the [Open]
- In the following window, please set it according to your taste. If you use the default settings, just click [OK] and please drink the while eating the cake until the process is complete.
- After the selesa, Bootable CD/DVD Windows can now be used as a bootable for installing windows OS.
